A disabled man divorced his wife and has no one to take care of him; is she permitted to look after his affairs?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : O Shaykh, may Allah reward you. This man divorced his wife, and he is disabled... regarding him, does his wife... and there is no one to manage his affairs, so does she uncover and see his 'awrah (part of the body that must be covered)?

The Shaykh : As long as she is in the 'iddah (waiting period), if the divorce is not final, she is like a wife, meaning her ruling is the ruling of a wife. Once the 'iddah ends, she is like a woman in the market; there is no relationship between her and him. Likewise, if the divorce is final, such as if it is the last of the divorces, or if it is for compensation, or if it is an annulment due to a defect or something similar, then she is separated from him immediately upon the divorce.

The questioner : And nursing care is provided.

The Shaykh : No, others should not nurse him, either men or, if it is possible for him to take back the woman, he should take her back. Yes.
