So they said that it is disliked for the imam in the secret prayer to recite a verse containing a prostration, and if he recites it, it is disliked for him to prostrate. But if it happens that he recites it, he should raise his voice slightly when he passes the verse of prostration so that people know he prostrated for the recitation. Raising the voice for some verses in the secret prayer is permissible, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes let the Companions hear the recitation in the secret prayer.
