Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A man with urinary incontinence who performs the call to prayer in the mosque, and sometimes the imam is absent, so he leads the people, and this is by the direction of the imam. Knowing that he knows the rulings of the call to prayer, leading the prayer, and matters related to the jurisprudence of prayer, and he has memorized the entire Qur'an, and he teaches it in one of the mosque's circles for memorizing the Qur'an. The question: Is his leading of the prayer, his call to prayer, and his teaching of the Qur'an valid?

The Shaykh : As long as he is qualified for it, it is valid, even if he is young, because 'Amr ibn Salama al-Jarmi led his people when he was six or seven years old, as that came in Sahih al-Bukhari. Likewise, in the call to prayer, if he has a good voice and knows how to call, let him call, even if he is young. Likewise, in standing in the rows, if he stands with a person behind the row, there is no harm, even if the person with him is an adult and he has not reached puberty.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.

The questioner : He also asks about how to perform ritual purity before and after the call to prayer?

The Shaykh : How to perform ritual purity before the call to prayer is the same as how to do it after the call to prayer. If he performs ritual purity for prayer before the call to prayer, there is no harm, except for the one with urinary incontinence, who does not perform ritual purity for prayer until its time enters.
