Are there Shari'ah guidelines for interpreting dreams, or does it depend on the person's ability?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : One should follow these guidelines, because a person may make many errors in application. A single dream image may differ greatly depending on the dreamer and the circumstances. I advise our brothers not to pay too much attention to this matter, because if they focus on it too much, Satan will play with them in their sleep, showing them a frightening dream every night, and then they will seek someone to interpret it. It is much better to turn away from this. If one sees something he dislikes, he should not try to have it interpreted, but rather do what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded: spit to his left three times and say, "I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of Satan and from the evil of what I saw," and not tell anyone about it. In that case, it will not harm him in any way. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "We used to see dreams in our sleep and become ill from them, but when we told the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about this hadith, we were relieved". If you see something you dislike, do this and do not strive to pursue dreams. Yes.
