The reciter: Hajjaj ibn Minhāl narrated to us, saying: Shu‘bah narrated to us, saying: Ash‘ath ibn Sulaym informed me, saying: I heard my father narrating from Misraq, from ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said:
the Prophet liked to begin with the right as much as possible in all his affairs, in his purification, combing his hair, and putting on his sandals كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلّم يحب التيمّن في طهوره، وترجّله، وتنعّله
