Is it derived from the hadith: (And the engraving on the ring was three lines) the prohibition of writing the Name of Allah with Muhammad opposite it, as is common on papers and the like?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. Is it derived from the hadith regarding the lines on the ring—Allah, then after that Messenger, then after that...—is it derived from that the prohibition of what happens in some mosques and watches, where the Name of Allah is placed and its counterpart, meaning its equal, is placed...

The Shaykh : This is known, meaning some ignorant people write on papers or on watches or on walls: Allah, and opposite it Muhammad. This is shirk (associating partners with Allah), this is a type of shirk. It is not major shirk, of course, because when the man said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "What Allah wills and what you will," he said:
Have you made me equal to Allah? أجعلتني لله ندا
. And if a man who knows nothing about Allah and Muhammad saw "Allah Muhammad," he would say these two are equal.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : They are identical, these two are identical, and there is no doubt that it is a type of shirk. So it is obligatory for the one who sees that, if he is able to change it with his hand, to change it. And if he is not able, it is obligatory for him to advise the one who has the ability to change it, even if it reaches the one in authority.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Yes?

The questioner : The mosques, O Shaykh, are full of them.

The Shaykh : Even if they are full, is it not the case that the person who sees this sees that Muhammad is a rival to Allah? They are equal, in the scale they are equal. Allah Muhammad, Muhammad Abu Bakr, no difference.

The questioner : ... the mosques.

The Shaykh : Fine, and remove them, may Allah reward you with good. If you can, remove them, even at night, even if you raid them at night and take them and break them.

The questioner : If it is clarified, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Yes?

The questioner : If it is clarified: Allah, Glorious and Majestic is He, Muhammad, Messenger of Allah.

The Shaykh : Even if it is clarified, because they put "Allah" large so everyone sees it, and they put "Muhammad" large so everyone sees it, and "Glorious and Majestic is He" they put it confined, as if it equals only the letter lam, yes, you don't see it. And what is the benefit of it in the first place? What is this placement? What is the meaning of "Allah, Glorious and Majestic is He" and what is the meaning of "Muhammad, Messenger of Allah"?

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : The important thing is that all of this came to us from ignorant people, and unfortunately many people take the thing as it is, they do not pay attention to the thing or what is behind it. There are some of the Muslims who see that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is greater than Allah, and they believe that they are Muslims, their hearts are filled with love for the Messenger (may Allah's prayer and peace be upon him) and the love of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is on the side. This is something we sometimes hear. When Allah is mentioned, it is as if nothing happened, but when the Messenger is mentioned, you feel that the effect of this mention appears on his face. And this means that the Messenger is stronger in his heart than Allah (Mighty and Majestic).

The questioner : Shaykh ... .

The Shaykh : Yes.
The Reader: Chapter: The ring for women.
The Student: A note...

The Shaykh : Is there a note? Is it useful?
The Student: By Allah, it is good.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Shall I read, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Do you read it, or shall I read it on the microphone?

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Yes.
