Benefits of the Hadith: (The most truthful verse spoken by the poet is: "Verily, everything is false except Allah.")

The Shaykh : And in the hadith is this evidence for the permissibility of citing poetry, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cited it. In it is also evidence for accepting the truth from whoever brings it, even if he is a poet, or an open sinner, or otherwise, and this is clear. And Allah the Exalted said: So when it becomes clear to us that his report is valid, it is obligatory for us to accept it.
