Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : As for ... whoever loves to meet Allah ...

The Shaykh : What does he say?

The questioner : O Allah, I love to meet You

The Shaykh : Very well.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Which one?

The questioner : The first hadith, the hadith of 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit and the hadith of Abu Musa; this hadith is regarding death ...

The Shaykh : Which one? The hadith of 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit; you say, the hadith of 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit and the hadith of Abu Musa

The questioner : Abu Musa ...

The Shaykh : Yes, another hadith, but it is understood in light of the first. A person may love to meet Allah because of his intense longing for Him. Perhaps, due to the strength of his attachment to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) and his connection with Him, he loves to meet Allah and loves to meet Allah, even if the issue of death is not on his mind at that moment. But because of his intense attachment to his Lord and his longing for Him, he wishes to meet Allah (Mighty and Majestic). He wishes to meet Allah, just as happened with Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). In his illness of croup, which was on this day, they said it was on a Monday, he said: "I hope, meaning, to be taken in this day", Monday, because he loved to be taken on the day on which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) died.
