Benefits of the Hadith: (Indeed, Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, says to the people of Paradise: O people of Paradise...)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : This hadith provides evidence for the position of the people of the Sunnah and the community, which affirms that Allah the Exalted possesses speech with letters and a heard voice. For this reason, Allah addresses the people of Paradise, and they respond to Him, and He addresses them a second time. It also affirms that Allah possesses satisfaction (rida), and that it is among the attributes of actions, because He said, "I have been pleased with you, so I will not be angry with you." This indicates that anger may come after satisfaction, and this shows that satisfaction is among the actions or the attributes of actions. The principle among the scholars is that whatever is connected to the will of Allah is among the attributes of actions, and whatever is essential to the essence of Allah is among the attributes of the essence.
