The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned, in the context of the hadiths in the chapter explaining what Allah the Exalted has prepared for the believers in Paradise:
"From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Riyad as-Salihin 1893 Narrated by Muslim.
And from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Riyad as-Salihin 1894 Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
And from Jarir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:Mishkat al-Masabih 5655 Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
And from Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him): that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Riyad as-Salihin 1896 Narrated by Muslim.
Allah the Exalted said:[Yunus 10:9-10] " .
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
The author mentioned, in the context of the hadiths regarding the pleasure of the people of Paradise, in his book *Riyad al-Salihin*, with which he concluded the book (may Allah have mercy on him). And we ask Allah the Exalted to make this an auspicious omen, so that He admits them and us into the Garden of Pleasure.
He mentioned two hadiths regarding the believers seeing their Lord on the Day of Resurrection: in Paradise, and he mentioned that Allah the Exalted will bestow His pleasure upon them, so He will not be angry with them after that, ever.
The seeing of the believers of their Lord in Paradise is established by the Book of Allah, the Sunnah of His Messenger, and the consensus of the Companions and the imams of the Ummah. No one denied it except those whom Allah has blinded the hearts of, and refuge is sought in Allah. For this reason, the hadiths regarding it are among the mass-transmitted reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says:[Al-Qiyamah 75:22-23] .
And He, the Exalted, says:[Yunus 10:26] : And the one who knows the Book of Allah best, Muhammad the Messenger of Allah, explained the "increase" as looking at the Face of Allah.
And Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:[Al-Mutaffifin 83:23] meaning: they look at what Allah has prepared for them of pleasure, the highest of which is looking at the Face of Allah.
And He, the Exalted, said:[Qaf 50:35] : and the "increase" is the increase about which Allah the Exalted said: [Yunus 10:26] , which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explained as looking at the Face of Allah the Exalted. And He, the Exalted, said: [Al-An'am 6:103] , so His saying: [Al-An'am 6:103] : indicates that the eyes will see Him, but they will not comprehend Him, for He, Mighty and Majestic, is too Great to be comprehended by the eyes. These are five verses in the Book of Allah, all of which indicate that the believers will see their Lord on the Day of Resurrection. No one denies this except a wrongdoer. So we ask Allah the Exalted to guide him to the truth, or to deprive him of the pleasure of looking at His Face. We ask Allah for one of the two: either that He guide him, or that He deprive him of the pleasure of looking at the Face of Allah, for no one denies this except one who is obstinate, since the verses are clear in this matter.
As for the hadiths, they are mass-transmitted, as the poet said:
"From what is mass-transmitted is a hadith of one who lied *** And of one who built a house for Allah and sought reward
"Seeing and intercession and the Pool *** Wiping over the socks, and these are some" .
"Seeing" means the seeing of the believers of their Lord on the Day of Resurrection.
And among that, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2554Sahih (Darussalam) ,
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions:

"From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The lowest place of any of you in Jannah will be that Allah will tell him to express his wish. He will wish and wish again. Allah will then ask him: 'Have you expressed your wish?' He will answer: 'Yes, I have.' Allah will say: 'You will have what you have wished for and the like thereof along with it
إن أدنى مقعد أحدكم من الجنة أن يقول له : تمنَّ فيتمنى ويتمنى، فيقول له: هل تمنيت ؟ فيقول: نعم، فيقول له: فإن لك ما تمنيت ومثله معهAnd from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Allah, the Rubb of honour and glory, will say to the inhabitants of Jannah: 'O inhabitants of Jannah!' They will respond: 'Here we are! At Your service, O our Rubb. All good is in Your Hand!' He will ask them: 'Are you pleased?' They will reply: 'Why should we not be pleased, O Rubb, when You have given us what You have not given to any of Your creatures?' Allah will say: 'Shall I not give you something better than that?' They will ask: 'O Rubb! What can be better than that?' Allah will say: 'I shall bestow My Pleasure upon you and I shall never be displeased with you
And from Jarir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:
when they were sitting with God's messenger, he looked at the moon on the night when it was full and said, "You will see your Lord as you see this moon and have no doubts about seeing Him
كنا عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فنظر إلى القمر ليلة البدر، وقال: إنكم سترون ربكم عيانًا كما ترون هذا القمر، لا تضامون في رؤيتهAnd from Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him): that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When the inhabitants of Jannah enter Jannah, Allah, the Glorious and Exalted, will say to them: 'Do you wish me to give you anything more?' They will reply: 'Have You not made our faces bright? Have You not brought us into Jannah and delivered us from the Hell?' And Allah will remove the Veil. The (dwellers of Jannah) will feel that they have not been awarded anything dearer to them than looking at their Rubb.
Allah the Exalted said:
(9) Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Beneath them rivers will flow in the Gardens of Pleasure (10) Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds!"
