Explanation of the Book of Inheritance, Fixed Punishments, and Blood Money-03a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Mahmud narrated to us, Ubayd Allah informed us, from Isra'il, from Abu Husayn, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
I am more closer to the believers than their ownselves, so whoever (among them) dies leaving some inheritance, his inheritance will be given to his 'Asaba, and whoever dies leaving a debt or dependants or destitute children, then I am their supporter.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6745
Al-Kull: the dependents.

The Shaykh : And it was said that al-kull means the burden, and from this is the saying of Khadijah to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
You indeed honor the guest and bear the burden.
.
In any case, when Allah opened the door for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he said:
I am nearer to the believers than themselves
Sunan Abi Dawud 2954Sahih (Al-Albani)
just as his Lord (Mighty and Majestic) said:
The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves
[Al-Ahzab 33:6]
.
so whoever (among them) dies leaving some inheritance, his inheritance will be given to his 'Asaba, and whoever dies leaving a debt or dependants or destitute children, then I am their supporter.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6745
meaning I will support him and provide for his needs.
And as for his saying:
His wealth belongs to the relatives of the 'asabah (residuary male heirs).
meaning to their closest relatives, it is like the hadith of Ibn 'Abbas:
and then whatever remains, should be given to the closest male relative of the deceased.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6737
.
