The reader: Ibrahim ibn al-Mundhir narrated to me, Abu Dhamrah narrated to us, Musa ibn 'Uqbah narrated to us, from Nafi', that 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) cutoff the hand of a thief for stealing a shield that was worth three Dirhams. قطع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يد سارق في مجن ثمنه ثلاثة دراهم

Muhammad ibn Isحاق followed him in this narration, and al-Layth said: Nafi' narrated to me: its value.
