Explanation of the Book of Inheritance, Fixed Punishments, and Blood Money-09b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Yahya ibn Sulayman narrated to us, Ibn Wahb narrated to me, Amr informed me that Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim narrated to him from his father from Aisha, who said:
Abu Bakr came to towards me and struck me violently with his fist and said, "You have detained the people because of your necklace." But I remained motionless as if I was dead lest I should awake Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) although that hit was very painful. أقبل أبو بكر، فلكزني لكزة شديدة، وقال: حبست الناس في قلادة، فبي الموت، لمكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وقد أوجعني نحوه
Sahih al-Bukhari 6845
Laks and waks are the same.

The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The author said: "Chapter on one who disciplines his family or others" meaning others other than his family, "without the ruler" meaning it did not reach the ruler. This chapter heading has a basis in the Sunnah, including the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Command your children to pray at seven, and beat them for it at ten. مروا أبناءكم بالصلاة لسبع واضربوهم عليها لعشر
Sunan ad-Daraqutni 3:5
For this is discipline. The scholars said: One who has the right to discipline, if he disciplines one who is subject to discipline, and he has done what warrants discipline, and then he dies, there is no liability.
