The reciter: Ali ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, Isra'il Abu Musa narrated to us. I met him in Kufa, and he came to Ibn Shubrumah and said: .
Al-Hasan said, "I certainly heard Abu Bakrah say:.
The Shaykh : Al-Hasan ibn 'Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) is a nobleman, meaning one of honor and status. The word "perhaps" (la'all) here is either for hope or for expectation. In any case, the matter turned out as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) hoped or expected, for Allah reconciled the Muslims through him, because in the end he relinquished the caliphate to Mu'awiyah, and the fitnah (trial) subsided. Thus, Allah reconciled the Muslims through him, and the Messenger's (peace and blessings be upon him) expectation came true.

Mu'awiyah said, "Who will look after the orphans of the Muslims?" He said, "I will." Then 'Abdullah ibn 'Amir and 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Samurah said, "Let us meet him and tell him to make peace."

While the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering the sermon, al-Hasan came, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My son, this is a nobleman, and perhaps Allah will reconcile through him between two groups of the Muslims."
