Explanation of the Book of Fitnahs and Rulings-04b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Yahya ibn Musa narrated to me, and Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, and Shu'bah informed us from Qatadah from Anas ibn Malik from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Ad-Dajjal will come to Medina and find the angels guarding it. If Allah will, neither Ad-Dajjal nor plague will be able to come near it. المدينة يأتيها الدجال فيجد الملائكة يحرسونها فلا يقربها الدجال ولا الطاعون قال إن شاء الله
Sahih al-Bukhari 7473
.

The Shaykh : The author did not mention that the Dajjal does not enter Makkah in the hadiths that have passed; he did not mention it. However, it is authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he does not enter Makkah or Madinah. If he does not enter Madinah, then his not entering Makkah is even more so, because Makkah is protected by the Shari'ah from polytheists and disbelievers, unlike Madinah, where disbelievers are permitted to enter Madinah but not Makkah. Allah the Exalted said:
O you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al-Masjid al-Haram after this, their [final] year يأيها الذين آمنوا إنما المشركون نجس فلا يقربوا المسجد الحرام بعد عاملهم هذا
[At-Tawbah 9:28]
And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) died while his armor was pledged to a Jew in Madinah. If Madinah is purified from this Dajjal, then Makkah is even more so. We only say this analogy based on the text; otherwise, we have no right to say so, because we do not encompass these matters in knowledge. But based on the established text from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he does not enter Makkah or Madinah.
