Two young women whose father does not allow them to attend some of the women's educational classes held in the mosque?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says: We are two young women, but what we are suffering from is that our father does not allow us to go to some of the classes held in the mosque where women are taught. What is your guidance in this matter, O honorable Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them in excellence until the Day of Judgment. We see that the father, may Allah guide him, should look at the benefit in your going to the classes in the mosques and not going. If he sees that the benefit is in your staying at home, let him prevent you from this. And if he sees that the benefit is in your attending the class and that there is no harm in it that outweighs the benefit, then what I advise him is not to prevent you, because the women of the Companions used to attend the mosque in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and they would get from listening to the sermons what they would get. But we are in a time in which evil, corruption, and foolishness have increased, so perhaps the father prevented you from going to the mosques to listen to the classes out of fear of evil and corruption. Then, Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) has opened for us in this era a clear opening, which is the recording of the classes that are delivered. You can obtain these recordings and benefit from them, and this will suffice you from going to the mosque directly.

The questioner : May Allah reward you. Do you mean, O honorable Shaykh, the means of conveying Islamic knowledge, such as tapes and the Quran radio?

The Shaykh : Yes, that is right. What I mean by the tapes are the tapes of the classes that are delivered in Yemen, not the radio. As for the radio, its matter is easy, and praise be to Allah, for everyone.

The questioner : May Allah bless you, O honorable Shaykh.
