Do you declare this person a disbeliever, even if he testifies that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and he establishes the prayer, gives zakah, fasts, performs Hajj, and performs 'Umrah?

The Shaykh : It remains for us to say: Do you declare this person a disbeliever, even if he testifies that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and he establishes the prayer, gives zakah, fasts, performs Hajj, and performs 'Umrah? Yes, because the causes of disbelief are many; the causes of disbelief are not limited to abandoning the prayer, or zakah, or fasting, or what is similar to that. They are many. And whoever wants to know the multitude of causes of disbelief, let him refer to what the scholars have written in the chapter on the rulings of the apostate.
