A bedridden person who wears a diaper permanently and cannot change it for every prayer: what is the ruling on his ritual purity and how does he perform it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Peace be upon you and Allah’s mercy.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah.

The questioner : O Shaykh, what is the ruling on a bedridden person who cannot go to relieve himself—may Allah protect you—who wears a diaper permanently and cannot change it for every prayer due to the hardship? What is the ruling on his prayer and how does he perform his ritual purity?

The Shaykh : May Allah bless you. He can combine the midday and afternoon prayers, and the sunset and night prayers. He combines the midday and afternoon prayers by delaying them, delaying the midday prayer until the time of the afternoon prayer, and delaying the afternoon prayer from the beginning of its time. Then he performs the ablution. Then, when the time for the sunset prayer enters, he prays the sunset and night prayers by advancing them, and he is content with the first ablution. One ablution per day and night for the four prayers, and another ablution for the dawn prayer. I hope that this will not be a hardship for him.
But if it is assumed that he finds hardship even in this, then he prays according to his condition, based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
