Is it permissible to make up the days I missed from Ramadan together with the six days, or should I fast the six days and then make up the days I did not fast in Ramadan?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He asks in it: Is it permissible to make up the days I missed from Ramadan together with the six days, or should I fast the six days and then make up the days I did not fast in Ramadan? Please inform us about this, may Allah reward you with good?

The Shaykh : It is obligatory to make up Ramadan before fasting the six days, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said
Whoever fasts Ramadan then follows it with six days of Shawwal من صام رمضان ثم أتبعه بست من شوال
Sunan Ibn Majah 1716Sahih (Darussalam)
then follow it ثم أتبعه
And it is not possible to follow Ramadan except by completing its fasting, so it is obligatory first to fast the make-up days, then to fast the six days of Shawwal.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : However, the six days must be in Shawwal. If one delays the make-up beyond Shawwal without an excuse and then fasts the six days, he will not obtain their reward, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) restricted it by his saying
then follows it with six days of Shawwal أتبعه بست من شوال
Sunan Ibn Majah 1716Sahih (Darussalam)
But if one delays making up Ramadan for an excuse, such as a woman who is in post-natal bleeding in Ramadan and becomes pure, for example, during Shawwal and starts making up the fasts, she will not finish them until after Shawwal has passed. If she fasts the six days after making up Ramadan, she will obtain their reward, because she delayed them for an excuse.

The questioner : Now, regarding the listener, is it not permissible for him to make up these six days just as he made up the month of Ramadan?

The Shaykh : He makes them up, then, just as he made up the month of Ramadan.
Yes, he makes them up, for example, in the month of Rabi' or Safar, or?

The Shaykh : Yes, yes, that is not valid, because the Messenger restricted them by his saying
six days of Shawwal ست من شوال
then follows it with six days of Shawwal أتبعه بست من شوال
Sunan Ibn Majah 1716Sahih (Darussalam)
.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you.
Also, Yahya Jaber has one.
