What is the ruling on one who intends to renew his wudu' while knowing that he is in a state of ritual impurity? Does his state of ritual impurity end?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : O Shaykh, may Allah reward you. Regarding a person who wanted to perform wudu' for prayer, and he intended with the wudu' to renew it, not to remove the state of ritual impurity, and he knew that he had become in a state of ritual impurity, does performing the wudu' remove the state of ritual impurity from him?

The Shaykh : Yes, did you understand? A man is in a state of ritual impurity, then he performs wudu' intending to renew it. Does his state of ritual impurity end? The answer is: his state of ritual impurity does not end. His state of ritual impurity does not end, because renewal is only considered renewal if one is in a state of ritual purity.
As for if he is not in a state of ritual purity, what is he renewing? So we say to this man: If you prayed with this wudu', then repeat your prayer. Perform wudu' with the intention of removing the state of ritual impurity, then repeat your prayer. But if he was unaware of the state of ritual impurity, meaning he renewed it while thinking he was not in a state of ritual impurity, and then after renewing it he remembered that he was in a state of ritual impurity, then this suffices him. Yes.
