The intention to renew wudu' does not invalidate it

The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 17730 )
Q 4: At one o'clock in the morning on the seventh day of Hajj, I performed tawaf and sa'y while in the state of wudu' from the 'Isha' prayer. Before the Fajr prayer, I went to renew my wudu', but I was unable to do so due to the heavy crowd. I lost my family and did not find them until after the prayer, after much hardship and exhaustion. I had not renewed my wudu' and had not yet prayed Fajr, so I prayed in the state I was in, fearing that I would lose my family again. When I intended to renew my wudu', did my wudu' for the 'Isha' prayer become invalid? I did not sleep; I only intended to renew it so that I could pray Fajr. And if it did become invalid, is there anything required of me?
A 4: The intention to renew does not invalidate the wudu'. As long as none of the things that invalidate wudu' occurred with you, your prayer is valid. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
