The Book of the Prayer of the Traveler and Its Shortening-07a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: And Ishaq ibn Mansur narrated to me, saying: Al-Nadr ibn Shumayl narrated to us, saying: Shu'bah informed us, saying: Salimah ibn Kahil narrated to us from Bakir from Kuraib from Ibn Abbas, who said: Salimah said, "I met Kuraib, and he said:
Ibn Abbas said: I was with my aunt Maymunah, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came قال ابن عباس: كنت عند خالتي ميمونة فجاء رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم
Then he mentioned it in a manner similar to the hadith of Ghandar, and he said:
And make me a light واجعلني نورا
and he was not in doubt...

The Shaykh : This means instead of
And make for me واجعل لي
or
And make me واجعلني
, this "he was not in doubt" means that the meaning is
Make me a light اجعلني نورا
, and for a person to be a light means that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) guides people through it by what he offers of knowledge and guidance. Yes.
