The Book of the Prayer of the Traveler and Its Shortening-07a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Harun ibn Sa'id al-A'ili narrated to me, saying: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, saying: 'Amr ibn 'Abd Rabbih ibn Sa'id narrated to us from Makhramah ibn Sulayman from Kuraib, the freed slave of Ibn 'Abbas, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said:
I slept at the house of Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was with her that night. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed wudu, then stood up and prayed. I stood to his left, so he took me and placed me to his right. He prayed thirteen rak'ahs that night, then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) slept until he snored. Whenever he slept, he would snore. Then the mu'adhdhin came to him, so he went out and prayed without performing wudu.
'Amr said: I narrated this to Bakir ibn al-Ashaj, and he said: Kuraib narrated this to me.
