Benefits of the Hadith: (… For Allah does not grow weary until you grow weary …)

The Shaykh : Then he said Sunan Ibn Majah 4241Hasan (Darussalam), when he said , he feared that someone might think this means the restriction of the favor of Allah the Exalted, or the deficiency of the favor of Allah, and that Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, grows weary due to the abundance of reward. So he clarified that Allah does not grow weary until the human being grows weary. This is not an encouragement to do much work, but rather a refutation of the misconception. When he said , perhaps a person might suspect, why? Is it because Allah is unable to reward us? So he answered by bringing this word, meaning this phrase, so that no one would suspect what is not befitting of Allah the Exalted.
And regarding his saying, some scholars said that this is something that must be interpreted figuratively (ta'wil), because weariness is an attribute of deficiency, and the apparent meaning of the hadith affirms it for Allah. Therefore, interpretation is necessary, because every text that suggests deficiency in the essence of Allah or His attributes must be interpreted figuratively, due to the saying of Allah the Exalted: [An-Nahl 16:60] So every text that suggests deficiency must be interpreted figuratively. And they said , meaning that the worker is not deprived of reward until the worker grows weary and leaves off the work. If he leaves off the work, he is rewarded only for what he did. And some scholars said that it must be kept on its apparent meaning, but the weariness attributed to Allah the Exalted is not like the weariness attributed to the created being. The weariness attributed to the created being is a deficiency, an inability to bear something, and a decline or weakness in the spirit or in the body. But the weariness of Allah the Exalted is befitting of Him, and no deficiency befalls Him. This is like anger; the anger of a human being has causes and is an inability to bear what has occurred until he becomes angry. But the anger of Allah the Exalted is due to His perfection, not due to an inability to bear. And this view is closer to the methodology of the Salaf, that the hadith is taken on its apparent meaning and it is said that the weariness of Allah the Exalted is not like the weariness of the created being, which is accompanied by deficiency.
for Allah does not get tired (of giving reward) but you get tired.
