How to reconcile the hadith of Ibn 'Abbas that the Footstool is the place of the feet with the hadith that Allah places His foot on Hellfire?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. We mentioned the statement of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Footstool is the place of His feet. I do not know, may Allah reward you, if this means affirming the two feet, given that what is established is that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) places His foot in the Fire of Hell. So I do not know, meaning?

The Shaykh : Meaning, mentioning one does not contradict mentioning two; it does not contradict it. And Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)—some hadith scholars claimed that he was among those who took from the Children of Israel. But what passed before us in al-Bukhari is that he denied taking from the Children of Israel, saying, "How do you take from them when they do not take from your Book?" And he rebuked those who take from them. This indicates that the statement of the hadith scholars that Ibn 'Abbas was known for taking from the Children of Israel does not hold up.
