The reciter: And Isma'il ibn Salim narrated to us, saying: Hisham informed us, saying: Husayn informed us from Abu Sufyan and Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah, who said: While the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was standing on Friday, a caravan arrived in al-Madinah, and the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) rushed to it, until only twelve men remained with him, among them Abu Bakr and 'Umar. He said: And this verse was revealed: "And when they see trade or amusement, they disperse toward it."
