The reciter : Abu al-Tahir narrated to me, and Ibn Wahb narrated to us from Ibrahim ibn Sa'd from his father from al-A'raj from Abu Hurayrah: أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يقرأ في الصبح يوم الجمعة ب آلم تنزيل ، في الركعة الأولى وفي الثانية: هل أتى على الإنسان حين من الدهر لم يكن شيئاً مذكوراً That the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite in the Fajr prayer on Friday, in the first rak'ah, "Alif Lam Mim, the descent," and in the second: "Has there come upon man a period of time in which he was not a thing mentioned?"
