The questioner : Some scholars say: that the action of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of touching the rain was that he was seeking blessing from it, is this correct?

The Shaykh : No, this is not what the Messenger clarified:
Because it has recently been with its Lord.إنه حديث عهدٍ بربّه

, and this is not seeking blessing, but rather love for what was a closer connection to Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
