The questioner : Yes, she also says in her letter that the school orders the female students to pray in the school, and they have appointed a teacher to lead the prayer, and she recites aloud, knowing that it is the Dhuhr prayer, and she recites aloud in all the rak'ahs. What should we do? Do we pray with her and is our prayer valid, or do we repeat the prayer at home? Guide us, may Allah guide you?

The Shaykh : Your prayer with her is valid, but it is obligatory that you advise her against reciting aloud, for what is prescribed in the Dhuhr prayer and the 'Asr prayer is for the one praying to recite quietly. So here we say that she should be advised and informed of the Sunnah, which is not to recite aloud. And even if she recites aloud, her prayer is valid, and the prayer of those behind her is also valid.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Yes.
