The reciter: And Ahmad ibn Munayyir and Ya'qub al-Duqir narrated to us, saying: Hisham narrated to us, saying: Mansur informed us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, from his father, from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: كنت أطيب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قبل أن يحرم ، ويوم النحر ، قبل أن يطوف بالبيت ، بطيبٍ فيه مسك I used to perfume the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) with a perfume containing musk before entering upon the state of Ihram and on the day of sacrifice (10th of Dhu'l-Hijja) and (at the conclusion of Ihram) before circumambulating the House (for Tawaf-i-Ifada).
