If one performs Hajj on behalf of another with money, then dies without completing his rites, is it obligatory for the one who appointed him to appoint another?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If one performs Hajj on behalf of another and then dies, is it obligatory for the one who appointed him to have someone else perform Hajj?

The Shaykh : This is a question that is, in fact, a real situation. If the deputy does not complete his rites and dies, is it obligatory for the one who appointed him, if his Hajj was an individual obligation, to perform the Hajj himself or to appoint someone to perform it on his behalf? In other words, is his ritual considered completed, so there is no need, just as if he had died while performing his own obligatory duty? That is, is it obligatory to appoint someone to perform Hajj on his behalf, or does the one for whom the Hajj was performed receive the reward whether he is alive or dead?
The apparent view is the second one, meaning that it should be said to the one who appointed him: Your Hajj is now completed, and you have the full reward of Hajj.
