The Book of Hajj-09a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: And 'Ubayd Allah ibn Ma'dh narrated to us, and my father narrated to us, and Shu'bah narrated to us, and Muslim al-Qurri heard Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) say:
Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) entered into the state of Ihram for Umra and his Companions for Hajj. Neither Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) nor those among his Companions who had brought sacrificial animals with them put off Ihram, whereas the rest (of the pilgrims) did so. Talha b. Ubaidullah was one of those who had brought the sacrificial animals along with them so he did not put off Ihram.
Sahih Muslim 1239a
.

The Shaykh : His statement:
For 'Umrah بعمرة
It is necessary that the intended meaning of 'Umrah is with Hajj, as Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "I have no doubt that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing Qiran, and Tamattu' is more beloved to me".
