Benefits of the Hadith: (… and he added, saying: “So I did not wait long before I got married”)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In this is evidence of the eagerness of the Salaf to comply with the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), because 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid said “So I did not wait long before I got married”. Likewise, a person should be eager to comply when the command of Allah and the command of His Messenger comes to him, because if he does not be eager, he is in great danger, as Allah Blessed and Exalted is He said:
And We will turn away their hearts and their eyes just as they refused to believe in it the first time. And We will leave them in their transgression, wandering blindly. ونقلب أفئدتهم وأبصارهم كما لم يؤمنوا به أول مرة ونذرهم في طغيانهم يعمهون
[Al-An'am 6:110]
So if a person does not be eager with contentment, submission, acquiescence, and execution, he is in danger. May Allah protect us and you from that. As soon as the command comes to you, do it and do not delay, so that you may be among those who hasten to good deeds and are the first to reach the highest ranks.
