The Shaykh : The first reward is the manumission, and the second is the marriage. The reason for this is that if he manumits her, she becomes forbidden to him and does not become lawful for him. So would he just let her go and leave her? She would be lost. If he marries her, he has done good to her a second time. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted him two rewards. Yes.
