Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: And Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, saying: Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, saying: Ibn 'Awn narrated to us from Muhammad from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Bashir al-Ansari, saying: He returned the hadith until he traced it back to Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said:
The matter of coitus interruptus was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: "What is this of yours?" They said: "A man has a woman who is breastfeeding, and he has intercourse with her but dislikes that she become pregnant from him. And a man has a slave woman, and he has intercourse with her but dislikes that she become pregnant from him." He said: "There is no blame on you if you do not do that, for it is only divine decree."
Ibn 'Awn said: "So I narrated it to al-Hasan, and he said: 'By Allah, this seems to be a prohibition.'"
