The reciter: And Abu al-Tahir and Harun ibn Sa'id al-A'ili narrated to me, and the wording is Harun's. He said: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, and Mukhrama ibn Bakir informed me from his father, who said: I heard Humaid ibn Nafi' say: I heard Zaynab bint Abi Salama say: I heard Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), say to Aisha:
By Allah, I do not feel at ease seeing the young man who has become independent of breastfeeding. She said: Why? Suhaila bint Suhayl came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, I see in the face of Abu Hudhayfa the effect of Salim's entry. She said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Breastfeed him. She said: He has a beard. He said: Breastfeed him, so that what is in the face of Abu Hudhayfa may be removed. She said: By Allah, I did not recognize it in the face of Abu Hudhayfa.
والله ما تطيب نفسي أن يراني الغلام قد استغنى عن الرضاعة فقالت لم قد جاءت سهلة بنت سهيل إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقالت يا رسول الله والله إني لأرى في وجه أبي حذيفة من دخول سالم قالت فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: أرضعيه، فقالت إنه ذو لحية فقال: أرضعيه يذهب ما في وجه أبي حذيفة، فقالت والله ما عرفته في وجه أبي حذيفة
