The Shaykh : No, it is not applied to him by analogy, because adoption outside of Islam is considered lawful by those who say so. However, if it was a marriage that was invalid in Islam but valid in their religion, they are left in that state, unless it is something that is not lawful for him in the state of Islam, such that the woman is not lawful for him.
