A benefit from the statement of 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) regarding the attributes: (She said, "I said, 'By Allah, I do not see your Lord but hastening to you in His love for you')

The Shaykh : In this is evidence that the issue of the attributes of action is not limited to what is explicitly stated in the texts. The attributes of action encompass everything that occurs, by which Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is described. The word "hastens" did not come in the Sunnah or in the Qur'an, but its meaning is that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) sometimes descends to His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with the verses slowly and sometimes quickly. Therefore, the attributes of action are not limited; whatever occurs in the universe, it is correct to describe Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) with it, provided it is from His actions.
