Continuation of the Shaykh's discourse on the attribute of the Hand and its conditions

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The Hand by which Allah described Himself is among the descriptive attributes, not among the conceptual attributes, contrary to the people of distortion who classified it as a conceptual attribute and interpreted it as power or as a blessing, meaning as a bestowal, i.e., as something separate from Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Rather, we say it is an attribute of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) among the descriptive attributes, whose names are, with respect to us, what? Parts and components. It is a real Hand by which He grasps and takes, as established in His saying, the Exalted:
the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection والأرض جميعاً قبضته يوم القيامة
[Az-Zumar 39:67]
And it is established that He, Glorified and Exalted is He, takes charity if it is from good earnings; He takes it with His Right Hand and grows it as one of us grows his foal, meaning his young horse, until it becomes like a mountain. And this Hand... neither in reality nor in attribute and modality. As for the reality, its reality is dependent on the Essence. Just as the Essence of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is not of the same kind as all created materials, but is an Essence that no other Essence resembles, so too, in terms of modality, it is not like the hands of the created beings at all, due to the saying of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He):
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing. ليس كمثله شيء وهو السميع البصير
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
And this applies to all the attributes. These are two points of discussion.
