The Book of Faith-02a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: And Hajjaj ibn al-Sha'ir narrated to me, saying: Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us, saying: Ibn Zayd, meaning Hammad, narrated to us, saying: It was said to Ayyub: "Amr ibn 'Ubayd narrated from al-Hasan that he said: The drunkard from date wine is not to be flogged." He said: "That is a lie. I heard al-Hasan say: The drunkard from date wine is to be flogged."

The Shaykh : We seek help from Allah. Which is more authentic? There is no doubt that the hadith of Ayyub is the more authentic.
