What is the validity of what some common people say to one who talks too much, “Let your angels rest”?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : We hear some common people, when they hear a person talking excessively, say, “Let your angels rest.” Is this phrase blameworthy?

The Shaykh : It is not good; it should not be said. The angels are too strong for it to be said that they are tired. However, the common people intend by this that one should be quiet and not speak. The expression is bad, but the intention is correct. Yes, tell him as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then let him say what is good or remain silent. من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليقل خيرا أو ليصمت
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2500Sahih (Darussalam)
