Explanation of the author's statement: "Chapter Seventeen on the forms in which the attributes of the two hands and the two eyes were mentioned"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then he said: "Chapter Seventeen on the forms in which the attributes of the two hands and the two eyes were mentioned". When I read "the attributes of the two hands and the two eyes," do I say "the attributes of the two hands and the two eyes" or "the attributes of the two hands and the two eyes"? In the latter, I drop the alif, because Ibn Malik says:
"If two static letters meet, break what precedes *** And if it is soft, its deletion is required"
Therefore, when we read the saying of Allah the Exalted
And We had certainly given to David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, "Praise [is due] to Allah ولقد آتينا داود وسليمان علما وقالا الحمد لله
[An-Naml 27:15]
, do we read it like this? We do not say "and they said, praise be to Allah"; we drop the alif. And from this is the verse that was used as a riddle:
"Indeed, 'Abd Allah circumambulated the House seven times, indeed, 'Abd Allah circumambulated the House seven times, indeed, 'Abd Allah circumambulated the House seven times *** And the noble, distinguished people performed Hajj from Mina"
The people of Mina, yes.
"Indeed, 'Abd Allah circumambulated the House seven times *** And the noble, distinguished people performed Hajj from Mina"
And Yusuf ibn Salih clarifies the point of the verse for us. Here, take down the verse. This is a riddle. Come, let me read the verse to you. See, answer me if it is a grammatical error:
"Indeed, 'Abd Allah circumambulated the House seven times *** And the noble, distinguished people performed Hajj from Mina"
He said, "You do not know grammar; all of this is wrong." But I say all of this is correct, and I explain the speech to him. So, regarding "the attributes of the two hands and the two eyes," we are done with the discussion of the two verses because they are not the subject of the research. The attributes of the two hands and the two eyes were mentioned in three forms: the singular, the dual, and the plural.
