Reading from the author's text with commentary and collation of manuscripts: "And likewise, Muslim narrated in his Sahih, from Abu Sa'id

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "And likewise, Muslim narrated in *his Sahih*, from Abu Sa'id and others, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: After rising from the bowing, he would recite from the remembrance what confirms the hadith of Anas and al-Bara'. And likewise, the voluntary prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): for when he prayed alone at night, he would lengthen it for himself as much as he wished. He would recite in the rak'ah Surat al-Baqarah, Al Imran, and An-Nisa. He would bow approximately as long as he stood, rise approximately as long as he bowed, and prostrate approximately as long as he stood".

The Shaykh : In my copy, "and he would bow" is missing.
The reader: Approximately as long as he stood.

The Shaykh : And he would rise after that.
The reader: And he would rise approximately as long as he bowed.

The Shaykh : Here you see that the Shaykh al-Islam (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned Surat al-Baqarah, Al Imran, and An-Nisa, and the hadith of Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited Surat al-Baqarah, An-Nisa, and Al Imran. In reality, there is no disagreement, because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) recited al-Baqarah, then An-Nisa, then Al Imran before the final arrangement. The final arrangement by which the Companions wrote the mushaf is that Al Imran follows al-Baqarah. For this reason, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Recite al-Baqarah and Al Imran, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection like two clouds, or two banners, or two flocks of birds, arguing on behalf of their owners on the Day of Resurrection. اقرؤوا البقرة وآل عمران فإنهما يأتيان يوم القيامة كأنهما غيايتان أو غمامتان أو فرقان من طير صواف يحاجان عن أصحابهما يوم القيامة
So he combined them. And it is known that if the Companions had been certain that An-Nisa came before Al Imran, they would not have delayed it. But in the end, or in the final period of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), Al Imran came to follow al-Baqarah. Yes.
The reader: And where did you stop?

The Shaykh : We stopped at "approximately as long as he stood, and he would rise approximately as long as he bowed."
The reader: "And he would rise approximately as long as he bowed, and he would prostrate approximately as long as he stood, and he would sit approximately as long as he prostrated".
