Exaggeration by the common people in stoning the pillars during Hajj, and this is among the exaggeration that is prohibited.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Among our common people, in the matter of stoning the pillars, they exaggerate to the extent that some of them throw large stones, and some throw sandals, sticks, and the like, because they believe that it is Satan. You will find one of them coming with his eyes red and swollen, his neck veins bulging, cursing and invoking curses, saying, "You are the one who separated me from my wife. Where is he from his wife? You are the one who did it. You are the one who commanded me to commit lewdness." And I once saw a man with his wife before the bridge was built over the pillars; he was sitting on the pool while the people were throwing stones at the pool.
