Reading from the author's text with commentary and collation of manuscripts: "For this reason, the imams—Ahmad and others, among the followers of Malik and others—

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "Al-Bazzar said regarding this and this, and it is not considered denigrated, and it has been narrated from other sources
Do not make my grave a festival, and do not make your houses graves. لا تجعلوا قبري عيدا ولا بيوتكم قبورا
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 5:1006
*Kashf al-Asrar 'an Zawa'id al-Bazzar* "
.

The Shaykh : My grave. You see, the first wording is "Do not take my grave." This must be verified, meaning my house or my grave.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Yes.
The reader: Here, Shaykh, he referred to it on page 302, before the end of the hadith, saying: "The hadith also has a good corroborating narration, which the author will point to on the following page, as al-Suyuti mentioned in *al-Jami' al-Saghir* with the wording:
Pray in your houses and do not make them graves. Do not make my house a festival. Send salutations upon me and greet me, for your prayers reach me wherever you are. صلوا في بيوتكم ولا تتخذوها قبورا ولا تتخذوا بيتي عيدا وصلوا علي وسلموا فإن صلاتكم تبلغني حيثما كنتم
Al-Suyuti said: The hadith is authentic, number so-and-so. Also, Imam Isma'il ibn Ishaq al-Qadi produced it in his book *Fadl al-Salah 'ala al-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him)* with another chain from Ali ibn Husayn, with wordings close to what the author mentioned here. The hadith, with the sum of its chains and corroborating narrations, reaches the level of authenticity, if Allah wills.

The Shaykh : In any case, if it is my house, it is as if the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) knew that his house would become a grave, so he combined "my house" and "my grave" with this combination. Otherwise, his house was not made a festival in his time. Even if it had been, there would be no harm in people coming to his house to learn from him. But it is intended, and Allah knows best, that he knew he would be buried in his house.
The reader: "He said:
Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not make my grave a festival, and do not make your houses graves. May Allah curse the Jews who took the graves of their prophets as mosques. Send salutations upon me, for your prayers reach me wherever you are. You and the people of Andalus are not different.
.
For this reason, the imams—Ahmad and others, among the followers of Malik and others—said: If one sends salutations upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and says what he should say, and then wishes to make supplication, he should face the qiblah and place the chamber to his left. End of section "
.

The Shaykh : Yes.
The student: It is not clear.

The Shaykh : What statement?
The reader: "And says what he should say, and then wishes to make supplication ".

The Shaykh : Perhaps he is referring to a specific manner in which this man performed it. Yes.
