The questioner : Welcome, Shaykh Muhammad.

The Shaykh : Welcome to you.

The questioner : This message came to us from the listener Khaled Bakr Muhammad. He says in his message, this is similar to a message that has come to us, because he also wants to perform Hajj and is carrying several wills. He says that a group of people asked him to bring them something from Makkah and al-Madinah, such as a stone, water, or a little dirt, or something similar to that, so what should I do? May Allah guide you.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions. As for these wills he mentioned, to bring to those who willed it dirt, water, or stones from the Haram, he is not obligated to fulfill them, and he may return them to them. If their wills were that he should invoke Allah for them in these sacred sites, that would be better and more appropriate. If he replaces these wills by invoking Allah for them in these sacred sites with what is good for them in their religion and worldly affairs, that would be better, more appropriate, and more excellent. Yes.
