Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
and prayed in it وصلى فيه
prayed among you
and prayed in it وصلى فيه
and what is in it?
and prayed وصلى
Meaning, he prayed in it
at any time he wants of night or day أية ساعة شاء من ليل أو نهار
Sunan an-Nasa'i 585
after Fajr, after 'Asr, when the sun is rising, at any time, do not prevent them. And that is because the mosque belongs to Allah (Mighty and Majestic)
And [He revealed] that the masjids are for Allah وأن المساجد لله
[Al-Jinn 72:18]
And Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:
And who are more unjust than those who prevent ومن أظلم ممن منع مساجد الله
[Al-Baqarah 2:114]
What?
the name of Allah from being mentioned أن يذكر فيها اسمه
[Al-Baqarah 2:114]
Pay attention, because the phrase
the name of Allah from being mentioned أن يذكر فيها اسمه
[Al-Baqarah 2:114]
is a substitute for the phrase:
the mosques of Allah مساجد الله
Meaning that the prohibition is directed at this, at preventing the mention of the name of Allah in the mosques. And likewise, if one prevents access to the mosques entirely and locks the door at a time when people need it, without a legitimate religious reason. Some scholars have cited this hadith as evidence, and we will mention them in the benefits section.
