to the end. It is a negative attribute, and knowledge of the unseen is an affirmative attribute. As has been established, all affirmative attributes are attributes of perfection. The negative attributes are an affirmation of the attributes of perfection because they imply the attribute of perfection from which this defect is excluded. Pay attention: the negative attributes, meaning the negation, are an affirmation of perfection because they imply the existence of the perfect attributes free from this attribute that is considered a deficiency. Therefore, there is no negation in the attributes of Allah that does not include the affirmation of its opposite, or rather the affirmation of the perfection of its opposite. For example, if we say that nothing is hidden from the knowledge of Allah, that is due to the perfection of His knowledge. If we say that He, Mighty and Majestic, created the heavens and the earth in six days and no fatigue touched Him, that is due to the perfection of His power. And so on. Thus, all negative attributes attributed to Allah Mighty and Majestic are intended to affirm the perfection of the opposite, as if He described Himself with perfection free from this deficiency. Now, His saying

the author says: “they are the small ants, the smallest ant” The author has informed us that among ants, some are small and some are large. In our custom, it is the opposite; we consider the ant a specific type of dust. Is that not so? We have dust, which is small, and we have something called an ant. Ants are known; this is the one that is a bit larger than dust and smaller than the *qarar*. Do you call it by this name or not? Do you call it by this name? Yes, you may not know it, but perhaps one day you will crush it and know it, if Allah wills. They say that this *qarar* is one of the things that is cited as an example of stubbornness, because if you move it away from you, it returns. And if it grabs your garment or your skin, it cannot be removed; it will not break or detach. Glory be to Allah, how stubborn it is! If it holds onto the garment, it bites it with its mandibles, or if it is on the skin, it does not move at all. You come to remove it, and it breaks. There is also one called *ja's* among us. But these are types of the genus; in reality, they are all called ants, all ants. Yes, and they are all dust. For this reason, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited [harming them], which includes all of this. Yes. Now, His saying

Yes, we say there is an affirmation of knowledge, because there is no writing except after knowledge. Writing, when you say it, cannot be imagined without benefit beyond the affirmation of knowledge, which is that what Allah Mighty and Majestic knows is written in the Preserved Tablet. The details will come later, if Allah wills.

The Shaykh : No, it does not indicate this.
The student: .......?

The Shaykh : It may rise in a thing and not reach the heavens or enter them. For example, the spirit of the disbeliever; the gates of the heavens are closed to it, so it does not enter, and it ascends. Yes.
