Continuation of the exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “And We did not give them any books to study, nor did We send to them before you any warner.”

One of these aspects, and likewise they were not knowledgeable about the previous scriptures, and no messenger would be sent to them. Thus, their condition is susceptible to both aspects, meaning that applying the verse to both aspects does not conflict with the condition of those who denied the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). Both aspects are true of them. If both aspects are true of them, there is no objection to saying that the verse intends both, because the condition of those who denied the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is susceptible to both aspects.
