We see that both the East and the West are not upon the religion of Islam, and whoever is not upon the religion of Islam is an enemy to Islam.

The Shaykh : Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, says:[Al-Mumtahanah 60:1] And they target us for the purpose of eliminating our religion first and above all, and then to weaken our material and moral strength so that they may control our minds, our thoughts, our wealth, and our lands. This is something known by tracing back through ancient times. As for the materials of entertainment and luxury with which they have flooded us, this is undoubtedly a blessing from Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, upon the servant, that He has made available for him those who work for him to provide comfort, well-being, and assistance with difficult matters. There is no doubt that this is a blessing from Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He. If a person uses these blessings in a permissible manner and within the limits of the Shari'ah, without extravagance or excess, and uses them to assist in the obedience of his Lord, then that is good for him in his religion and his worldly life. But if he exceeds the limits in them, or is extravagant, or uses them to assist in the disobedience of Allah, then it becomes evil for him.

As for what these people aim for by flooding us with the matters mentioned by the questioner in his letter, in my opinion, they do not intend anything but a material matter, which is collecting money and obtaining it.
